When i first signed up for this class, i didn’t know what i wanted to blog about. First, I thought that since there were 12 weeks, I would blog about the 12 Doctors, from Doctor Who. But then I noticed that other people had done the same thing, Then I attempted to write about the decay of morality, but I went through mood swings. So I decided to actually blog about blogging. I figured this would help keep me in the present, keep me focused on what i was doing while helping others who are blogging for the first time. So those of you who are blogging on your own without the benefit of taking a class, I will walk you through it. You can vicariously blog through me. This way I can learn and teach, or teach and learn, and you can learn and see if this is for you. And I can see if this i for me. I am using George Plumley’s 3rd Edition of “WordPress”, Teach Yourself Visually. It is a very informative book that not only teaches you in text step-by-step, but has accompanying screenshots for further clarity. I will add pictures in the very near future that will correlate to steps in the process and every widget, plug in, etc. I learn to do, I will show you too.
So follow me, because I’m lost too.

  1. Hey Brandon,

I am blogging for the fist time as well. I never thought in a million years that I would be doing this but it won’t hurt to learn something new.

  2. I have been an avid reader of various blogs, mostly Nigeria gossip and the Art of Nigerian partying . I look forward to reading your posts ……. Did you think 10 years ago that blogging would be one of the go to modes of communication online? is it?

  3. Blogging is fun. I really like it. I might do more of it in the future with a different topic. Not that I don’t like the food subject that I already have. I just might try something more else.
